Sweet Holiday Gift Cupcakes
Cupcakes make simply elegant gifts. And, what could be simpler than this little sugar cube present atop a sweet cupcake!
What you need:
Reynolds® Baking Cups (Green Foil)
1 package (18.25 ounces) white cake mix
1 container (16 oz.) ready-to-spread cream cheese frosting
Silver dragees
Sugar Cubes
Red fruit roll-ups
Instructions:
PREHEAT oven to 350°F.
PLACE Reynolds Baking Cups in muffin pans; set aside.
PREPARE cake mix following package directions for 24 cupcakes. Spoon batter into baking cups.
BAKE following package directions (15 to 20 minutes). Cool.
PIPE frosting onto cupcakes using decorating tip #1M.
PLACE about 15 silver dagrees on each cupcake.
MAKE gift:
- With a scissors, cut thin strips from the fruit roll-ups.
- Tie the fruit strips around the sugar cubes, making a bow on the top.
- Place the sugar cube gifts on top of cupcakes.
TIP: Red decorating gel in a tube could be used in place of the fruit strips. Place the sugar cubes on the cupcakes first. Then pipe a ribbon and bow on the sugar cube with the red decorating gel.
