Valentine Candies
What you need:
Reynolds® Baked for You™ Baking Cups (Hearts)
6 squares (1 oz. each) Baker's White or Semi-Sweet Chocolate
CHERRY FILLING
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup maraschino cherries, drained, finely chopped
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 tablespoon milk
PEANUT BUTTER FILLING
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup peanut butter
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 tablespoon milk
Instructions:
PLACE Reynolds® Heart-Shaped Baking Cups on a cookie sheet with sides; set aside.
MELT half of chocolate squares in microwave according to package diretions. Divide melted chocolate evenly among heart-shaped baking cups. Refrigerate until set
COMBINE the ingredients for the Cherry or Peanut Butter filling in a medium bowl with an electric mixer.
PLACE 1 tablespoon of Cherry or Peanut Butter filling in each chocolate-filled baking cup.
MELT remaining chocolate in microwave following package directions and spoon over filling to cover completely. Refrigerate until firm.
DRIZZLE tops with additional melted chocolate to decorate candies, if desired.
REMOVE candies from baking cups by tearing away foil.
Reynolds Kitches Tip: You can also Use these shaped cups as dessert bowls. We served chocolate covered strawberries in them. Just dip freshly washed strawberries in dipping chocolates (follow package directions) and allow them to harden on wax paper.
