Heart-Shaped Ice Cream Sandwiches


What you need:

18 Reynolds®  Baked for You Shaped Baking Cups (Hearts)
1 package (22.5 oz) Fudge Brownie Mix
1/2 gallon strawberry ice cream, softened slightly
Confectioner's Sugar
Cut-Rite® Wax Paper
Reynolds Wrap® Aluminum Foil
Optional: Sprinkles, Chocolate Chips, or other decorative candy

Instructions:

PREHEAT oven to 350°F.  Place Reynolds Baked for You Heart Shaped Baking Cups on two cookie sheets with sides; set aside. 

PREPARE brownie mix following package directions; set aside.  With spoon or #20 ice cream scoop, fill baking cups half full with brownie batter.  

BAKE 15 to 17 minutes, do not over bake.  Cool.

TURN brownies out of cups onto wax paper.  Cut each in half horizontally.

SPREAD about ¼ cup ice cream on the bottom of 18 brownie halves.  Top with remaining halves of brownies.  Smooth ice cream around edges with a knife or spatula.  

PLACE confectioners' sugar in a fine strainer and dust the top of the cupcake.  If desired, roll sides of ice cream in sprinkles, chocolate chips or other decorative candy.

WRAP in aluminum foil and freeze for at least 1 hour.
